Funeral arrangements
Dear friends,Nicola's funeral arrangements are as follows:
Monday 17th March
4pm Funeral service at Lower Morden Lane Crematorium, Morden, Surrey, SM4 4NU
5pm Light refreshments at Queens Rd church, 30 Queens Rd, Wimbledon, London SW19 8LR
6pm Celebration led by Russell Rook with Chick Yuill preaching in Queens Rd church
We are going to create a 'memories of Nicola' book during the celebration but if you cannot be there you could email a memory you have to phil.garnham@salvationarmy.org.uk
I don't think you need me to tell you how appreciative we have been to you for keeping us company on this journey. It would have been a far more difficult and lonely one without you and we as a family will always be deeply grateful.
I just want to finish by letting you know what I have discovered on the way. It is that you don't always get what you want (I think the creator of this amazing universe has the right to remain silent on that one) but His grace is always enough because His love cannot fail. It was enough all through Nicola's long illness, it is enough now, and I have every confidence to believe it always will be enough in the future.
I hope you can experince the reality of this grace in your life too.
With much love,
Phil

Dear Phil,
I was greatly saddened to hear of Nicola's death after her battle with cancer. Although I didn't know her well she seemed to do everything with an air of grace and cheerfulness. I found her determination to continue in ministry (despite her illness) an inspiration. I would like to extend our heartfelt condolences on behalf of the the Queens Road Church elders and staff. We feel honoured to host her thanksgiving service which I am sure will be a fitting tribute to her life and ministry. 'Well done good and faithful servant.'
Yours in Christ,
Malcolm Kyte
We're praying for you all.
With much love from

Monday was an inspiration - in some ways I feel guilty in that I thoroughly enjoyed every moment! Thank you for being the people you are.
