Update on Nicola
Dear all,It has been a very difficult week for Nicola, but she has got through it and managed to go all day yesterday without being sick and even had a reasonably good sleep last night. As I phoned this morning she was eating half a weetabix, hardly a chocolate brownie but you have got to start somewhere! We are hoping and praying that her progress will accelerate this week and that she will soon be home. It seems like she has been in hospital forever but in fact it is 7 weeks tomorrow.
A friend from Raynes Park came to visit in the week and read Psalm 91 to us, without knowing it is a passage we keep coming back to:
Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; He is my God, and I trust him. Psalm 91: 1-2
Thanks so much for your continued love and support.
Love,
Phil
ps Sam has just come into the room and says hello!
