Update on Nicola
Dear friends,When I went to see Nicola yesterday morning she was having great difficulty with her breathing. In the afternoon we went to the ultrasound department and had some fluid drained from her lungs and her breathing improved almost immediately. The palliative care doctor came to see us to say that Nicola should be able to be transferred into our local hospice within a few days, probably early next week. Nicola is very weak and tired now, hardly able to move or speak much, but her radiant spirit is shining through. When we arrive to visit we still get the beaming smile that has always been so precious to us.
Thanks so much for your continued prayers, we are experiencing the grace of God in all this and He is giving us the strength we need to bear the unbearable.
