Update on Nicola
Dear friends, we continue to be constantly encouraged by all the kind words and extra mile actions from our friends and family, we are so very blessed indeed to have you on our case! It is very difficult to put into words but all I can say is that we are feeling very prayed for( not very good grammar I suspect)Nicola's bowel obstruction shows no sign of easing despite her having not eaten for many weeks now. She continues to be fed artificially, so at least she is getting the nutrition she needs. Although the oncologist said a few weeks ago that surgery was very unlikely as it was too risky they are now looking at it again as they have run out of other options. At the weekly inter disciplinary meeting tomorrow of oncologists and surgeons they will decide what they will or will not do, so we are waiting to hear!!
Nicola's brother Simon flew back to California on Tuesday but it was great to see him and he says he's coming back soon. Our 4 lovely children continue to be brilliant through this difficult time. They are being so supportive and we are so proud of them.
Thanks so much for your prayers and support,
Much love,
Phil

Hi Philip
Quite by chance I saw Peter and Doreen Hill at Stafferton Lodge - Restaurant in Maidenhead yesterday. I asked them if they knew how Nicola was. They told me about this blog so here I am having "googled" Nicola Garnham and read your latest news. I don't think I have the right words to say to you but I can see that you and Nicola are amazingly strong and have many family and friends prayers giving you encouragement. You are both in our thoughts. Take care
Karen
