Thanks for your prayers
Thanks so much for your prayers. Nicola is no longer in severe pain, but is still very weak and tired. She is having a blood transfusion today so we hope that will give her a bit more energy. The doctors still have not decided what to do about Nicola's bowel obstuction. There are small signs that it may be sorting itself out, so it is still 'wait and see' for now. However, Nicola has not been wasting her time whilst waiting. Amonst other things she has been praying with a French lady who is extremely poorly and encouraging the lady in the bed next to her who has recently started going to church despite ridicule from some of her family. We read Psalm 91 together yesterday morning:
The person who rests in the shadow of the Most High God will be kept safe by the Mighty One. I will say about the Lord, "He is my place of safety. He is like a fort to me. He is my God. I trust in him. Psalm 91:1-2
May you continue to rest in the shadow of the Most High,
Love,
P
