Hi Everybody,

We hope that you have had a lovely Christmas.
We have had a lovely time, celebrating my birthday and Christmas with family and friends. It was great to have my parents plus Hilary and her family staying here while Alison and Colin with their families came over to visit as well. It has been a really special time.

We were hoping to go away for a few days after Christmas but as I have been having a few problems with pain and sickness have decided to relax at home. We have a great many chocolates to eat and are currently enjoying watching series 4 of '24'. I am now going to go back to the hospital a week earlier than originally planned, on Monday 31st Dec.
