Nicola's News

Hi friends,
I'm beginning to feel human again after the last dose of chemo, so hoping that the next 10 days will be good. I haven't been so sick this time but have been incredibly tired. Now that he weather has turned so cold and dark the idea of hibernating is very appealing! It is at times like this that just ploodding on on hanging in there is about as much as I can do. I'm encouraged that I'm not the only one to feel like this, many of the biblical writers as well as other people of faith down through the centuries have felt battered and bruised at times. Yet Paul was able to write:
So we're not giving up. How could we! Even though on the outside it often looks like things are falling apart on us, on the inside, where God is making new life, not a day goes by without his unfolding grace. These hard times are small potatoes compared to the coming good times, the lavish celebration prepared for us. There's far more here than meets the eye. The things we see now are here today, gone tomorrow. But the things we can't see now will last forever.
2 C0r 4: 16-18 (The Message)
God is good!
Many blessings to you all.
With love,
Nicola
