Nicola's News

Hi friends,

I am feeling well at the moment so am really making the most of it before the next onslaught. This situation is certainly teaching me to try and take each day as it comes and to appreciate what I have. I like the Message paraphrase of Matthew 6:34:

Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don't get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes.

This coming weekend we are going to the Raynes Park church retreat at Ashburnham Place. Hannah and Sam are coming with us and we are all really looking forward to it.

I have my next chemotherapy treatment on Monday 12th Nov.

Much love,
Nicola

PS My hair has now nearly all gone - not many to count - Matthew 10:30

Hi Nicola, Iain and Alison here in Scotland.
Just to say you've been in our prayers over the last 13 months since we heard of your diagnosis. You and Phil have been an immense inspiration to us since 1993 when we met you for the first time at college. We believe in miracles and have come to see God do some amazing stuff in our time as officers. We believe He is doing and will continue to bring healing. And we send you our love and prayers.

Lots of love

Iain and Alison (Edinburgh Gorgie)
P.S. Each Friday morning our corps members will also be interceding for you and your family.
