Nicola's News

Hi there,

I have had a CT scan today which went smoothly, I'll get the results on 7th Jan. These hospital procedures which once seemed so daunting are becoming quite routine now, they happen so often.

Something which doesn't happen so often is a 50th birthday. I know it's hard to believe (!) but I will be 50 on Christmas Eve. If you are in the area on the 24th then do pop in for a piece of birthday cake or a mince pie and some mulled apple juice between 4pm & 7pm. We'd love to see you.

Our house is gradually filling up, Abigail is now home for the holidays, tomorrow Rebekah comes home and my parents arrive, then my sister Hilary and her family are coming on Sunday.

I forgot to mention last week that I now have a wig, which has been easier to get used to than I expected and looks quite realistic.

I hope that you aren't too busy to enjoy the approach of Christmas.

Many blessings,
Nicola
