Update on Nicola
Dear all,I have just spoken to Nicola on the phone and she sends her love to everyone. She is getting better nights now that she does not have to keep dashing to the little room in the corner of the ward.
The latest investigation they did (the name of which I cannot spell) has left Nicola very uncomfortable and in considerable pain, but they said that should gradually ease. Unfortunately the investigation also confirmed that a stent for the bowel obstruction will not be possible. They have also said that surgery is an unlikely possibility.
It looks like they are running out of options but we still have the option of trusting in the Lord with all of our hearts (Proverbs 3:5) so that is what we are going to do!
We had a lovely family day with Nicola yesterday. Rebekah and Abigail are home from uni and Nicola's sister Alison from East Grinsted came over with her son Joe.
Thanks again for all your support.
With much love,
Phil
