Update on Nicola

Dear all,
Nicola is still in the high dependency unit at Charing Cross and progress seems to be very slow. She still needs oxygen to aid her breathing and is only able to have a small amount of water every hour and no solids as yet. We had hoped she may be out of HDU by now but we must be patient, and realise the blessing of how closely she is being monitored and cared for in that unit.

Nicola is still continuing to surprise us ( we should know what she is like by now shouldn't we!) with her courage, sense of fun and her deep trust in the Lord. The children have also been amazing as we have taken it in turns sitting with Nicola as there are only 2 visitors at a time allowed in HDU.

It is at times like this that you realise how precious friends and family are, we are so deeply grateful for your love, support and prayers.
