Hi friends,Unfortunately my surgery scheduled for tomorrow has been cancelled, all the surgical lists have been cancelled over the next few days due to the confusion caused by the big change round in junior doctors today. You may have seen or heard it in the news.
Of course this is very frustrating for us all and I have been put on the list for next Thursday (9th August). However the good news is that they have let me come home until next Wednesday, so here I am back with the family.
Thank you for all your prayers and support. Please do pray that everything will go ahead next week and that there will be no more delays.
We are continuing to trust God in all this, I'm not saying that we don't have questions but we do believe that we are in his hands and that he is faithful.

Once again I don't know what to say in the face of what you are all going through. Feeling pain for you (if only that would help). At times like this we know God must know what he's doing but its so hard to see the logic of it all (is God logical, perhaps not). I can only pray for strength & peace for you all. Great to hear of the girl's adventures and work. Love to you all. Gay.

We have just returned from a week at Keswick Convention and are catching up on emails blogs etc.
We are sorry to read of the frustrating delays and matters that you are suffering. We trust that whatever form of chemo you will be given will be effective. Please be assured that you continue to be in our prayers.
