Still waiting!
Nicola has had a scan but we now have to wait for the radiologist and the consultant oncologist to meet up to discuss it and they are very busy people. They will eventually come and tell us what needs to happen, but the waiting is not easy. At the moment Nicola is still booked in for her chemo on Monday and still eating a little without being sick so we keep praying.Throughout it all Nicola is amazing and we do have peace about our situation. We have been pondering together about what Romans 8:28 means in this context. We do believe that all things are working out together for good, but perhaps the Lord's 'good' is not always compatable with what we might think of as our good. We are continuing to trust in the Lord and realise the hope we put in Him does not disappoint.
Thanks for your continued prayer,
Love
Phil

Hi Phil
We have only just come across your blog site, and are really sad to hear just how poorly Nicola has been since we saw you just a few weeks ago at Roots. We just want to say that you are all much loved, and that we will be praying especially in the next few days that in "all things" God will work for your good, and that healing will come.
Jon has been looking at your photos, and realises that he played football with Sam at Roots, so wants to say "hi" to him.
With our fondest love & continued prayers
David & Sarah, Jonathan & Gareth
