Update on Nicola

Dear friends, we had really hoped that Nicola would be coming home yesterday but it was not to be. When they examined her in the morning they were concerned about a swelling in her abdomen so they sent her for an ultrasound. They now think there is some kind of growth there and have arranged for a CT scan which will give a much more detailed picture.

As you can imagine we are very concerned about this latest development and its implications for her remaining on the clinical trial. We do not know what is going on but are are trusting in the Lord who loves us and does know what is going on!

As Nicola endures her third week in hospital she is still as positive and cheerful as ever.
