Nicola's News
Hi All,We hope that you have had a very happy Easter and have been able to make the most of the gorgeous weather. On Easter Sunday RPCC had a church family picnic on Wimbledon Common after the service and a group of us enjoyed the sunshine there. On Easter Monday we went as a family to the New Forest and hired three tandems. The six of us had great fun cycling round the forest paths and soon got the hang of the team work needed for tandem riding.
On Tuesday, despite all that fresh air and exercise, my white blood cell count was low again (neutrophils 1.1 this time) so that was a bit disappointing. The chemotherapy has had to be delayed again. On Wednesday I had to go back to the hospital agan for an echocardiogram (an ultrasound scan of my heart). Everything seems to be normal there and nothing to worry about. I have to go next Monday for more blood tests and to see the doctor then again on Tuesday for (I hope) the next dose of chemo.
We have all appreciated the many messages of sympathy and support that we have received since Philip's Mum and Dad died. Thank you for all your love and care.
Yours,
Nicola
