Nicola's News

Hi Friends,

The good news is that my white blood cell count has come up enough so that I was able to have chemotherapy on Monday. The neutrophils are still rather low (1.6 now, it was 1.2 last week, the cut off point for chemo is 1.5). Fortunately I have managed to avoid picking up any bugs. Please pray that this dose of chemotherapy doesn't knock the white blood cell count back too far again.

Philip's Mum's funeral is going to be next Wednesday (4th April). It will be at Basingstoke crematorium but will be conducted by Alex Hughes who is the officer at Maidenhead. Kath had been a part of Maidenhead Corps for over 80 years. Alex and Ingeborg have been wonderful pastors to George and Kath and have been a great support to the whole family.

Abigail is now home from university and Rebekah arrives home this evening, it will be great to all be together again.

Thanks for your love and prayers,
Nicola

Pleased at the news about your blood count. We too hope that it does not drop again. Our prayers are with you following the promotion to glory of Phil's Mum. No doubt you feel a mixture of sadness at her loss and rejoicing that she is with her Lord. You continue to be remebered in our prayers.

Graeme and Gwyneth
