Prayer Requests
Thank you all for your prayers. Here are some prayer points:
- Thank God for the fact that I am feeling so well and that the blood tests for tumour markers are still showing a reduction, a positive sign.
- Pray that I will continue to be able to cope with the side effects of the chemotherapy.
- Please pray for Philip's Mum who is being treated for breast cancer and is not at all well at the moment. She was taken to hospital on Monday evening but has now been discharged and has gone to stay with Philip's brother.
- Ask that we will all receive each day as a gift and be totally dependant on God for him to supply our needs.
As Philip and I have been continuning to read the Exodus story we have come to the part where the Israelites are fed daily with manna in the desert, an amazing lesson in how to live with God one day at a time (Exodus 16). As Dennis Lennon puts it 'God did not send Israel on her way with freezers filled with forty years' supply of food. Who needs God when cupboards are full?' Over these last few months we have proved God's faithfulness in giving us the grace we need to face each new challenge. God is good!
Many blessings,
Nicola
