A message from Nicola

Hi friends,

We are enjoying a few days of 'normality' before chemo starts next week. I am getting out and about more, eating well and generally feeling fine.
All the family are busily getting on with life, Rebekah and Abigail at uni and Hannah and Sam at school. Philip, Sam and I are going to go down to Paignton to see my parents this weekend and Rebekah will come over and meet us there.

For Philip and I Philippians 4:6-7 have taken on a whole new significance this week. We have taken the words 'Do not be anxious about anything' as a direct instruction and are trying hard to put it into practice, focussing on the blessings we have today and not getting stressed about what may or may not happen in the future. The sense of peace which we have is truly beyond our understanding.

Thanks for your continuing love and prayers, it's great to get your messages and comments.

With much love,
Nicola

Thanks Nicola for sharing what God is teaching you in these days. by sharing this way it means that we too can learn lessons - even if we are not experiencing the same situation. Really praying that your body will embrace the chemo well. Prayers for you and all the family, Jani

Hi Nicola, Sarah and I join with thousands around the world who want you to know of our love and prayers for you and the family. Our corps family don't know you, but they are praying for you as well. North Wales is a long way off, but if there is anything we can do, please let us know.
